We werent really going to have an Insomnia Gaming Festival without Starcraft 2 were we? With Heart of the Swarm* on the horizon, the buzz around the game has increased again recently, especially with the Blizzard WCS EU finals recently finishing, with previous Insomnia44 & IPL 4 UK champion Stephano taking the crown as Europes best SC2 player, and deservedly so (even with Zergs current "status").

The previous Insomnia tournament was the World Cyber Games UK Qualifiers sponsored by Samsung and PCWorld - with Dignitas.JonnyRecco taking the first place and representing the UK at the World Cyber Games global finals in Kunshan, China, as well as taking home £1,500 and knocking down the previous champion - Dignitas.BlinG.

Neither of these two players will be able to defend their places this time around, since the WCG Global Finals is the same weekend & BlinG is likely to attend as second place, the prize money at Insomnia47 is there for the taking! Dont miss out on this awesome chance to take the UK crown!
