Our Stratlan series of LAN’s are a cosy gathering of gamers in the delightful Warwickshire surroundings that Stratford-Upon-Avon has to offer.

Enough with the poetry - Kipling wasn't even FROM Stratford, so.... anyway.

StratLAN is famed for its warm, friendly atmosphere – welcoming to newcomers and veterans alike. If you’ve never been to a Stratlan before it’ll take about 20 minutes for someone to say hi and from that point in you’re part of the group.

StratLAN is about fun and relaxation. When not gaming you can enjoy the great atmosphere in our dedicated social area. In here you can often find people playing board games, Magic: The Gathering, poker - or just sitting around and relaxing with a drink and a pizza. It's a great way to meet new people and to take a break from the gaming.

Obviously Stratlan is still a LAN at heart and an unhealthy amount of time is spent playing games. Because there are much fewer people than at an i-Series, it is easier to organise. It’s not uncommon for someone to shout out the name of a game and to have everyone in the room join the server! The event is a “bring-your-own-booze” affair and so, if you’re over 18, you can bring all the beer you want to drink at your desk or in the social area!

Venue Facilities

A Stratlan is a comfortable LAN. With plenty of sleeping room for all – plus lots of free camping space – you’ll have no problem getting a good sleep (assuming you do sleep at all of course). There are both male and female showers available.

There is a kitchen which can be used for microwave meals and fridge/freezer space for anything you want to keep cold. Boiling water is available which can be used to make pot noodles, tea coffee and so on.

In short the essence of Stratlan is a gathering of people who, regardless of if they know each other or not, have a great time together – partying into the night and playing hard the rest of the time! Once you’ve been to a Stratlan you won’t want to wait for the next one!
