TF2 Pickups are GO! | Add CommentPosted on 05 May 2008 @ 13:31 by Breath Well we did it, not only do we have 24 very popular servers, a very promising tourney starting at the end of May, (sign ups are now open!). We are now proud to announce our TF2 Pickup channel !! It's very simple: 1: join irc #mpuktf2.pickup (on irc.quakenet.org) 2: type !add 3: teams will be picked 4: join allocated vent and game server 5: play! Who can play? Everyone! This is not just for clannies who want to practice 6v6, it is for anyone who wants to either try out 6v6 style games, meet new people, and generally improve their game. Hopefully the uber elite can teach us peons some new tricks, it can only help to improve the game and community. We currently have 2 dedicated servers and a 32 slot vent server. These can and will be added to when required. Choosing a map to play couldn't be easier, type votemap this will bring up a menu for you to choose from, only needs 25% of players to vote, da da map sorted. All servers are set to tourney mode, have class limits and no crits set. Basic rules: -All players must use Vent, server ips and passwords are posted there. -If you cannot play, type !remove as soon as possible. -If the game starts and you are unable to play, call in channel for a sub, failure to show up for a game may result in a a short ban! -All players are required to be on vent and game server within 5 minutes of announce. -When match finishes, leave vent and game server. NO IDLING ! -Servers will have a 30 minute or round limit dependent on map. -General league rules apply, 1 medic, 2 class limit, no crits. -No moaning, bitching or general stupidity. For more information about the pickups see this thread. i34 seating plan defrag info | Add CommentPosted on 02 May 2008 @ 18:05 by Elbonio We have posted a thread on our forums with information about our plans to "de-fragment" the i34 seating plan.
