Straight off the back of one of the most awesome Insomnia events ever we wanted to give you all the heads up on the first set of tournaments we are hosting at our HUGE Insomnia46 summer event.

Signups will be opening soon, so make sure you get your tickets - we fully expect to sell out this event, and you dont want to miss the gaming event of the year! Do not miss taking us up on the "Early Bird" discount - 20% off your BYOC ticket! Watch for more details in the coming weeks about each tournament, but for now feel safe that we will be hosting the following tournaments.

Counter Strike Source

This will not shock anyone - we are going to have our usual epic CSS tournament, with awesome online qualifiers and a minimum prize pool of £7,500. Thats huge! Tournament Type: BYOC

Team Fortress 2

This is the event the TF2 community has been waiting for! We are hearing about teams coming from the USA and as far as from Australia! Well we did not want to dissapoint them, the prize pool for TF2 is set to a huge £5,000. Tournament Type: BYOC

Modern Warfare 3 (Xbox)

After the great success that was our first MW3 tournament, we wanted to see how big we could go. This time, the minimum prize pool will begin at £3,500 and this tournament will be open to BYOC and TUP ticket holders. Tournament Type: TUP

Starcraft 2

So many people love Starcraft 2, and we are no different. We have boosted the minimum prize fund for this tournament to £3,000 (thats nearly $5,000!) and expect to see some big names, and see if d.BlinG can hold on to his long fought victory. Tournament Type: BYOC

Battlefield 3

Battlefield 3 will be back! Staying with 6v6 Infantry since it works well at Insomnia events. The prize fund will scale with the number of teams taking part. Also expect a separate fun tournament this time. Tournament Type: BYOC

Minecraft

Minecraft was a HUGE success at Insomnia45, and we introduced Spleef and Parkour to the masses. Both were loved and we are bringing them back for your enjoyment to Insomnia46. However, we still want to run the long-running Creative Competition and this time there is a HUGE £1,000 prize pool available for Minecraft players to get a chance to win. Tournament Types: BYOC/F2P

Fighting Games

Fighters at Insomnia45 was an excellent success, so we are going to go HUGE! Make sure you keep your eye out here for more information regarding these tournaments. They will be "PAYG" tournaments, meaning you pay a nominal fee to enter each tournament - 100% of this goes back into the prize pool! Tournament Type: PAYG

Insomnia45 Finals Arena

After the success of the Friday Night Party and the World Famous Classy Saturday Pub Quiz we are proud to announce that they will be returning for insomnia46!

This time we want to make it bigger and better than before:

This is not mandatory, but we can not guarantee you a place in any tournament you sign up to later then this date (but we are nice so we probably will let you play).



Dont forget, you can win thousands of pounds in these tournaments, and many come with awesome physical prizes! To sign up to a tournament, you will need to get your ticket first!

Once again we have more updates on the developemt of ClanForge v3 :)

Some of you may have noticed that yesterday we released a new version which implements more functionality to manage your servers into v3. This was released to betaforge.multiplay.co.uk

In order to try and get a bigger userbase for this release, we are randomly forwarding some users from clanforge.multiplay.co.uk to betaforge.multiplay.co.uk so that we can get as many testing scenarios as possible.

However, you can also switch back to the old version of ClanForge if you wish, by clicking the "ClanForge Classic" link in the top bar.

If you find any bugs when using ClanForge v3 then please head over to the ClanForge Feedback Thread and let us know!

Live Control
In this release you can now manage your servers in real time from your Server Dashboard through the Live Control, which includes:

- Players / Bans
- FTP Details
- World Backup & Restore
- Server Console
- Upload / Download Files
- PunkBuster Bans
- PunkBuster Players Lists
- Registered Players for Comms Servers
- Current Game Settings

Seriously, they are awesome. Dont believe me? Well OK, heres some proof for you!

Tom "kalleth" Russell, a invaluable member of our Community (honest), has created something to help everyone keep in touch with everything going on during an Insomnia Festival weekend; the Insomnia Viewr!

This cool little news feed app takes information from the Insomnia site, Twitter feed and various other sources to keep you in the loop with all the latest news and announcements that occur during a crazy weekend of gaming & activities @ an iSeries.

Why not give it a try this event! It will sit nicely on your desktop and feed you all the news from the event you could ever want, plus we are going to be trialling it as an Announcement System of sorts, to see whether it works better than the tannoy or simply yelling while stood on a desk.

A button to launch the Viewr will be available just below the menu bar on the Insomnia Site throughout the event for easy access.

The FINAL full line-up and schedule for the fighting games is now available! Due to popular demand we have added King of Fighters XIII to the list of awesome fighting games we are hosting tournaments for at Insomnia45. Also, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 has some of the most powerful superheroes facing off with some of Capcoms greatest fighters. A very fast paced game - it will be a welcome addition for viewers and competitiors alike! We have also shuffled the days a little, so now there is 3 games per day on Saturday and Sunday.

To take part in these tournaments, just pay £10 per tournament entry fee (£5 for venue entry) - all of the tournament entry fee is paid straight into the prize pool! Sign up on the same day as the tournament itself between 10am and 12:30pm at the front desk. Tournaments will begin at 1pm, and each game will follow on from the last one, so dont disappear!
